Do I need to bring my computer to your Estherville store?

Where are you located?


We are located at 500 Central Avenue (Highway 9) in downtown Estherville, Iowa. We are in the former Great Lakes Insurance location, which is on the opposite corner of Ace Hardware.

When can I drop off my computer? What are your hours?


Our “pre-grand opening” hours are 10:00am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday, and 9:00am to 1:00pm Saturday.

Can you absolutely guarantee that my computer will run faster?


As much as we would like to make that promise, we can’t, and here’s why. Due to operating system and hardware constraints, together with the age of your computer, we’re unable to absolutely guarantee that your computer will run faster, even after our comprehensive tuneup. This is typically because of one or more of the following factors:

— an outdated operating system;
— an older processor;
— limited hard drive storage; or
— insufficient memory.

Depending on the age of your computer, installing additional memory or a faster hard drive often increases its speed, and we can discuss those options, too.

That being said, if we can’t get your computer to run faster, you pay absolutely nothing!

Do you guarantee anything?


Yes, we guarantee that:

— we will do everything we can to make your computer run faster;
— we will provide you with the absolute best customer service; and
— if we can’t get your computer to run faster, you pay nothing, as in $0.

And, even if we increased the speed of your computer, if you’re not thrilled with our effort and customer service, you don’t pay. And if you’ve already paid, we’ll do whatever it takes to make it right, including a full refund.

What about the malware and virus scan?


If you request a malware and virus scan, you have two options:

Option 1: If your computer has existing anti-malware and anti-virus software, we’ll conduct a malware and virus scan using your existing software.

Option 2: We will conduct a malware and virus scan using Bitdefender Total Security 2020, which typically requires installing a 30-day free trial version of that software on your computer.

— We recommend Bitdefender because we believe it is one of the best cybersecurirty solutions for consumers. And, by the way, we do not receive any commission or “kickback” as a result of recommending or installing Bitdefender software on your computer.

— In order for Bitdefender to run, it is usually necessary for us to deactivate and uninstall any existing anti-malware and anti-virus software on your computer.

— You are under no obligation to purchase Bitdefender after the free 30-day trial period. If you decide not to purchase Bitdefender, simply uninstall the software from your computer.
